Ending means a New Beginning

Our precious days of fun and ecstasy have ended, and a new age has come – an age where everything repeats.
Duh! It’s just summer vacation has ended and we will now go to school as juniors. It’s just we’re back to the same routine from Mondays to Fridays, we will wake up early in the morning, take a bath, eat breakfast, wait for our service, stay for around 11 hours in school, go home, eat dinner, make assignments, take a shower and sleep. Then, for the next days and so on, we will do it again. Well, we need to learn how to sacrifice something, so that we can achieve our goals in life. That’s why we chose to sacrifice our time for leisure and make those times, a time for learning and to fulfill our craving for knowledge.
Well, anyway, I’ll just tell what happened on our first week as juniors. Our first week is like we’ve been in hell. It’s not like we met demons or anything, it’s just it was so hot that we felt like we’re being tortured with the flames from hell. We’re always dripping wet with sweat. The temperature aside, we’re in a lot new environment – new classroom, teachers, chairs and everything (except for my classmates!). Our new classroom is not that small and not that big; it’s enough to accommodate 34 students and their teachers.
We took a diagnostic test to determine the extent of our knowledge in our upcoming lessons this year. Well, my favourite test was the Spanish 9. I just laughed and laughed because I know that I don’t have enough knowledge in the Spanish language. I’m familiar with some Spanish words, not just because some Filipino words are actually Spanish, but because of Dora the Explorer. I used to watch Dora where she almost count everything she sees, even the stars!
“I will join ICT Club!” I shouted. I’ve been in ICT Club for 2 years so that means since I was a Grade 7 student. But this year, it’s different. There’s no ICT club in the choices. So, I sat down and wait for it to pop out but nothing happened. To comply with the rules, I joined the Research Club. Well, I think there’s no harm in trying something new. I was so shocked when I joined the Research Club because we just have A LOT of MEMBERS. Yes, A LOT is just sarcasm. We just have 13 or 14 members including both Grade 9 and 4th year students. But in the end, I’m still able to be an ICT club member! Charie and I went straight to Ma’am Jennylou and we asked her to make us an ICT club member. We shouted in joy and thanked Ma’am Jennylou as she grant our request.

All of us in our class had a fun and exciting experience as a third year student even it was just our week. Our class is full of smiles, laughter and jokes same as last year. It just proves that our bond and relationship as fellow classmates is getting stronger as time passes by. Now that we are juniors, there is no turning back now. We will fulfill our goal and graduate as the best students of CavSci. I believe that “Regret will not turn back time”. All you need to do is enjoy and give your best regardless of whether you like it or not.
